Whose numbers are right? Sparkpeople or Fitbit?

Yesterday I went Kayaking. On the FitBit app it says that 90 minutes of kayaking is worth about 300 calories or so. On Sparkpeople it lists it at 1500 calories. This is a HUGE difference. Why? Who do I believe??

    There's no way 90 minutes of any activity burns 1500 calories. Sorry. Fitbit FTW!

    Then there was the stationary bike my daughter rode for 10inutes at her PT session that stated she had burned 20 calories! Which is the accurate one? Toss a coin!

    I'm seeing 222 on another site for 30 minutes kayaking, so I think I'd go with fitbit. Sounds like someone pulled a number out of a hat at SP, sorry to say.
