Plateau Challenge Day 15 of 18 *Right Direction

I'm moving in the right direction! I went over my calories yesterday, but not by too much. I also didn't quite make my calorie goal but only by a few. I DID- Drink all the water I planned, go to the gym and work out, catch up on the laundry, run to the grocery store for a few things I need for prep. This morning I ate off plan because I didn't have what I had planned finished but I looked up what I substituted so that I could keep it in the same calorie range. My macros will be a little off but that's fine. It is the last day of school so I may not get my workout in before pick up at 11am. It depends on the baby's nap. My husband is working from home today so maybe I will go to the Y after we get the kids to bed tonight.
Today I am working on drinking enough water again and doing up a batch of turkey sausage for breakfasts. I'll blend and form them into patties, cook them in the oven and then freeze them. I can control what goes in (no yucky stuff), the level of spices and the serving size. It is also probably less expensive although I never really checked. I grew up with my grandparents in rural Maryland. Most of our meats, milk, and eggs came from down the street. We had a small homestead and only went to the grocer every few weeks. My family always made it's own sausage (and everything else) so I am always a bit skittish about processed foods, especially meats. It is just how I was raised, but up here in the Boston Burbs they think it's odd...or that I have a foodie blog.
Anyways. I have to go check those eggs, change a diaper, and drink some water!
