Specific: Goal is to lose 50 pounds in the next year by following healthy eating habits and healthy exercise routines
Measurable: Weigh every morning, but don't get discouraged, even a few ounces is progress. Occasional increase is ok, just reminds me to keep on track. Track my nutrition and my activity daily.
Attainable: I am willing and able to eat healthy. I will choose activities that I am able to complete with my health restrictions. Stretching exercises are essential every day. I will ride my recumbant bike while watching television in the evening.
Realistic: Short term attainable goals. Lose 10 pounds/1-2 pounds per week. Use measuring cups and scale to calculate portions at mealtime.
Timely: I will lose the first 10 pounds before the end of July. Already lost 2+pounds so am part way there.
