Japan Goals

Each year I take a group of students out of the country to study culture and history. This past March we went to Rome, Capri, Delphi and Athens. The year before I went to China (Beijing, Xian and Shanghai). Before that I went with a bunch of teachers on a quick five day trip to Paris. I love taking pictures and seeing all the world has to offer. I have learned so much and dispelled a lot of misconceptions when it comes to other countries. I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to travel, but one thing always bothered me, my weight.

The trips are very intense, we walk on average about seven miles a day, we hike, climb stairs, you get the picture. I somehow hold my own and love every minute of it. As each year passes I have gained more weight and the trips become harder. I really want to be a lot more fit for my next trip. Japan looks amazing. We are going to Tokyo, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Hiroshima. All I can do is just keep plugging away, I have until March. I was hoping to lose 20 by September. I am down 5 so it is still a possibility. 15 left to go. Hoping to be down 40-50 by March.
