Whole 30 Report Week 3

Over halfway done!!!
I made it through the Memorial Day weekend. Friday was a little rough. It was the beginning of the 3 day holiday weekend, and to really rub it in, I live in Indianapolis. So Indy 500 race parties galore. I so wanted to eat a hotdog and drink a beer. But a didn't. My reasons WHY are bigger than the eating a stupid hotdog. The rest of the weekend was better. I did feel like a snob taking my own food to my Grandma's family cookout on Monday, but she totally supported me.
I really do feel good. I feel thinner and more agile. I'm getting better sleep and feeling perky when it's time to wake up. Nothing I've eaten in the past 3 weeks has made me feel bad. I eat my meal. I feel satisfied and energized. I have to admit, I really like eating this way. After the Whole 30 I think I'm going to continue a semi paleo eating plan. Now, when I'm hungry, I'm not just hungry for whatever I know tastes good. I'm starting to get a sense of what I'm hungry for. For example, today I had an apple for a snack, because I felt as if I needed to eat some fruit.
My sweetie is still doing great as well. He has lost 25lbs!!!!! Just by cleaning up his diet. He said he can tell a huge difference in his activity level. He feels like he can do more and move better. I think he's pretty blown away with what good nutrition can do.
