Yep. This is our inner voice, telling us we are tired, we did this two days ago, we don't feel good. NOPE. Get up and get out there.

Why should I? Because taking care of you is your job. It is your lifetime commitment to you. Exercise is an important component of that. I could cite a LOT of Scientific studies, showing how exercise keeps your heart in condition, helps you maintain a healthy weight, helps you lose weight, and keeps your mind in balance.

There are so many reasons why you need to stop making excuses for yourself, and you need to get out there and get moving. If you have not been moving, start by walking. Walk two blocks then three, then ten then a mile. Walk for 30 minutes a day, and you will be happier, healthier, and have a better outlook about everything.

Don't ever give a damn what anyone thinks of you. Focus on what YOU think of you, and how awesome you think you are for getting out there. If you have a gym membership, use it. Lift weights, walk on the treadmill, take yoga classes (or any fitness class that intrigues you).

If you don't have a gym membership, that is no excuse. Spark now has a pretty organized fitness area. So does You Tube. And, best of all, walking doesn't need any equipment, and all you have to do is get out there and do it. Don't start Monday, start today.

Today is the day you need to get going. No pain, no excuse, no issue should keep you from this mission. I have exercised through two knee surgeries. Chair exercise kept me going. Swimming became a lifeline. Never stop moving. Moving your joints brings needed nutrients from your body to them and they actually feel better if you move.

No excuses. Put on those sneakers and go workout.
