TAKING A NAP

Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Working night shift doesn't help with getting enough hours of sleep, so when I am busy running doing chores or whatever, I don't want to punish myself to continue but to take time to take nap even if it is just 20 - 30 minutes and I found that has helped me a great deal. I don't want to stress myself too hard without listening to my body and making sure I rest as needed. REST, REST, REST IS GOOD FOR THE MIND & BODY.

I've been spending nights with my mom in the hospital and in the skilled nursing facility and boy does my body feel it… I think I could nap for about two years straight.

    Thanks for your post!

I loooooove taking naps too. But I find I need them less and less, ever since I have my C-PAP at night.
But you are so right. Listening to our body when it needs rest is the best way to repair body and mind. By the way, I love the picture of yourself with your beautiful and colourful dress. Just looking at it makes me happy.

There are people who can take a 15 minute nap and wake up refreshed. I wish I were like that.
