May 24, 2016 THE SCOPE OF GOD'S WORK

Many of us have witnessed watching things grow. We have seen our children grow from babies to adults. We have seen buildings come up from where there was dirt to skyscrapers. We have watched flowers and trees grow and bloom. Growth is a part of life. Some growth takes effort while other growth is automatic. However, what we see with our human eyes is just the surface compared to what God has really done. His work in this world is perfectly timed and no one can see the entire scope of His work.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 "Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end." (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know we only see a small part of what You have created. We know we have only witnessed a small amount of the people and places that are part of Your great and infinite plan. Your work is always right and always just in time. Help us to remember the infinite wisdom You have. Help us to remember we are just a small part of this great plan of Yours. We are truly grateful for Your creations and Your plans that are going to be fulfilled in Your own time. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.

No one knows what God's complete plans are and no one truly understands His ways.

God has a plan that is far greater than anything we could ever imagine.

God's creations are beyond our capabilities and our understanding. We are just a small part of it all.

Think about the vastness of this earth and beyond. God made it all for His purpose to be fulfilled.

While we are to be like Jesus and be obedient to God, we will never know all He knows.

Isaiah 55:8 "'My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,' says the LORD. 'And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.'" (NLT)

Focus: We don't know God's plans so we need to trust in Him to show us in His own time.
