Goodbye for now

Saturday, May 21, 2016

I just bought a Garmin Vivoactive watch because it is waterproof and I can use it in the pool. Although it does allow me to sync my steps from it to here, it does not allow sync between here for food and the connect app. They use MyFitnessPal instead. soo,,,

I downloaded and have started using MFP.

It seems okay, it doesn't have as much as SP but I really don't need two places so I am going to end my streaks and move on (at least for now).

Maybe this is a new start. I have had a fitbit for years and moving from it to the vivoactive, also moving from here to there. I have often wondered if the burden of logging in and doing all of the daily sparkpoints stuff is a healthy obsession anyway. Logging food of course but the rest, it takes time away from family etc.

A new beginning to reboot stagnant lifestyle?

Not deleting my account as I may decide to come back.

I started SP for logging and blogging too, but I found that it was the support on my team that really helped me stay focused, accountable, and enthusiastic. Good luck with MFP!
