Busy and trying to stay on plan

May and June are really busy months for me. With three kids and all of the sports, dance, competitions, end-of-the-school-year activities, chaperoning field trips, banquets, recitals and three birthdays - I'm losing my mind. As of right now I only have one day with nothing planned (so far) until the end of June.
The craziness makes it really difficult for me to stay on plan, get in my exercise and avoid stress eating. In fact, last week I gained 1.2 pounds. But this is real life. Every May and June are like this and will be until my kids are grown. I have no choice but to learn to deal with it and take care of my health at the same time.
Yesterday I took time for a 4.8 mile walk and also did strength training. I really didn't have the time for that, but then again I am trying to move my health up on the priority list. The exercise really helped relieve my stress and in turn I did great with my nutrition yesterday.
Stress and emotional eating are issues for me. Prioritizing myself is an issue for me. But I am working on those things and I am going to be successful. I really don't have a choice.
