I have been working out hard for over three years and thought I was in pretty good shape and had excellent stamina. BUT.....we just adopted a dog and now walking her a lot during the day and I've gone from around 15,000 steps/day to closer to 20,000 or more and I feel it! I was getting up and walking around the house for 5 mins and now I take her for a 15 - 30 mins walk in the morning. That is great and I really love the time with her (Cora) but it is a shock that this kind of walking tires me out.
Just goes to show that we can always ramp up our workout. What are you doing to change up your routine?
