Always a reason for an exception

Whew, so my plan for this upcoming week has been successful. Yesterday at work, I stayed out of our breakroom all day and I did not even tempt myself. I heard it was delicious. I kept feeling like I had to be accountable here on SparkPeople so that helped. Tonight my son had his band banquet and it was catered by my favorite BBQ place in town. OMG! Soooo good. I probably did overeat the delicious meat, but I avoided the bread and dessert like I planned. And I ate healthy the rest of the day. Tomorrow I am choosing a Japanese place to eat lunch for Mothers Day. Healthy eating the rest of the day!

Wow, there is always a reason to celebrate. And I keep hearing "It's a special occasion, you can splurge this once"..... Well, when every other day is a special occasion, I get myself in trouble! So it's been 2 days now and I havent binged. Just 2 days binge free and I am mentally and physically feeling better. I am being really cognizant of what my binge triggers are. I started opening a box of crackers to just have a serving, but stopped myself because I knew 1 serving would not satisfy me. Let me remember that.

Happy Mothers Day to all!
