Day 5- Lose the Belly

Today's big challenge was a potluck salad dinner at church. I had oatmeal with fruit and almonds for breakfast, and just a grilled chicken breast for lunch, knowing that I would be faced with a lot of calorie-laden bowls of pasta and who knows what tonight. I ate pretty moderately and skipped the bread & dessert, except for one dark chocolate truffle. Tracking? Pure guesswork! But I did my best guessing, and seem to have come out pretty well over the course of a day, so I'm claiming victory!
Tomorrow we celebrate Mother's Day with my family, and the men are cooking. It's always a lot of fun! I am going to take a day off from the tracking and just enjoy the day with some special treats, but nothing too over the top.
