Ouji Board Round - how long?

Friday, April 29, 2016

I know I know. Yaknow?
It's MY saying: "the scale is a ouiji board"
And, for me, it is.
Sometimes weighing myself is motivating and sometimes it backfires.
Sometimes being on a schedule for the numbers works and sometimes it's a mistake.

I've been eating healthy for SIX YEARS! yeah! woot! that's amazing!
I've lost 245-165 75 lbs
I want a "goal weight" in the 30's...

Getting out of the 60's is taking a F of a Long time.
How long? not long.
How long? not long.
It's a big stretch to invoke "i have a dream"
but what the heck
it's okay to offend myself to make the point (hahah)

Watching the kettle.
Waiting for the kettle.
No fairy godmothers.
There are THINGS TO DO.

My steps are up.
And, yep, when I move a lot more, my body parts squeal some (and I don't like that).
However, avoiding that squeal will not get me the results I want.
So....

Finding the right moment.
Conjuring the right spirits.
PUT YOUR FINGERS ON THE POINTER
ouji board metaphor

Cut me some slack here...
I'm gonna run with the metaphor.

The ouiji board connection works when both hands fingertips are LIGHTLY on the platform and both sides/ players FOCUS.

LIGHTLY
FOCUS
INTENTION

Do the next right thing
Rinse repeat

Yeah.... That's the way, p.
So... you've done well this past week plus and the scale hasn't moved.

Keep breathing.
Keep a light touch.
Do the next right thing.

Sometimes the scale lags, just keep doing what you know is living healthy, and your body will tell you how you feel. The scale can't do that. Eventually it'll catch up.
