Small Changes

I decided to buy a Nutribullet Rx and began making veggiefruit smoothies, half kale or spinach, and the other half frozen and fresh fruit, for breakfast each morning. Also included is spices or herbs recommended by the book that came with it, for boosting metabolism, getting rid of inflammation,and general better health, such as ginger, turmeric,and flax seeds and nuts. Well it took some getting used to, but with that change alone, I lost 7 lbs the first week! Now that I am in the habit of it, I intend to continue with it. With a salad at lunch or dinner, and at least one other fruit or veg during the day, I am getting 7-9 fruits and vegetables a day as opposed to maybe 2 or 3 before. Instead of thinking about subbtracting things from my diet like I used to, which always left me feeling deprived, now I am adding so much to it, it doesn't leave room for a lot of other stuff, I don't even have to think about it.
