Day 9, 10, and 11

Sunday, April 24, 2016

So the last few days have been ok. Well not really. Friday was a fun day but at the same time a depressing one. I'm one of these types that if I screw up early in the day, I eat all day long. I know, I know. Well I went to bingo Friday night with my sister and it was at a school. Of course instead of chairs we had to sit at these teeny tiny lunch tables where the bench is attached to the table. I had to sit sideways the whole evening because my big ole belly wouldn't fit. Seriously 3 hrs of what was supposed to be a fun evening I was in misery all because of my weight. So what do I do??? Eat bad all day yesterday. Lord help me please. So today is Day 11. I'm ready to have a successful day and not dwell on my crappy mistakes of the weekend. Here is a pic that I took of my daughter yesterday rescuing a turtle out of the road. LOL Have a good day Sparkfriends.

I swear most of the weight I have ever gain (and continue) to gain doesn't come from the bad decisions, it comes from those self-punishing aftermaths that I feel I deserve from the slip up.....On the flip side, I lose weight when I am forgiving and get back on track and not let it haunt me. WHY IS THAT SO HARD??!! I am still gaining so I have no advice except that you deserve to give yourself a break. I am rooting for you!

I used to do what you did, thinking I've blown it for the day and let the rest of the day or even several days just go out the window as far as calories. Don't beat yourself up! Think of how you would support a friend who had that experience and support yourself that way. We are always hardest on ourselves.

Set small goals, like tracking your food, no matter what you eat. Drinking 8 glasses of water. Getting up and moving for 15 minutes. Once you reach those goals for a few consecutive days, then you might feel like you're gaining some momentum, and you'll feel ready to add more goals or increase the ones you have. You can do this! Reach out for Spark when you feel like you're going to give up!

I've been doing the same thing here lately. I'm exhausted with everything, but deep down in my heart I know I can't give up. We are strong ladies and will find that formula made especially for us; to make our weight lost be successful again. emoticon emoticon

And remember, you can bear anything for one day, right? Even if you're exhausted and beat down and defeated when you go to bed, you made it 1 day... Then when you wake up, you'll be rested and ready to fight through just ONE day... That's all. Just 1

I go to bingo with my sister too! Lol. And I had a very bad weekend too... Very disappointed in myself, but you're right! Today is new and you can choose to make better decisions today! Great attitude to have!
