Day 51, 178 Days Left: Officially Overweight

It has been a constant challenge for me to get out of the "obese" weight category...well imagine my excitement and surprise this morning when I finally got under 150 pounds, putting my BMI into the "overweight" range. This is one of my really big goals and I am so proud of myself for reaching this goal! Now I want to lose about 6 more pounds before we leave for California at the end of May, which will be 10% lost (144 pounds).

The strength training has really helped! My scale measures lean body mass, which has been going up all week, which is clearly due to the increase of toning workouts that I am doing. If you aren't doing ST, you are missing out!! Check out my main page to see the routine I am following, but the basic is this:

Monday: Arms & Abs
Tuesday: Thighs & booty
Wednesday: Core
Thursday: Legs
Friday: Total Body
