Here's a word that has been thrown around on the chat board. What is it and is it real?
It doesn't mean you will starve to death. What it does mean is that if you don't eat enough calories your metabolism will slow. Reactive thermogenesis is the real name. One study found that even losing more than 1/2 pound a WEEK can cause this.
Many people have testified that they didn't start losing weight until they started feeding their body correctly.
So if you want to be successful in your weight loss goals you really should eat at least the minimum number of calories in your given range.
I was sick for a prolonged period and probably ate a couple hundred calories a day during that time. Only lost about 10 pounds. That's my personal experience with it.
