I was not accepted into a local fitness and dietary program because of the requirement to walk.
However, I did see an exercise physiologist who has now given me 3 simple exercises to do on a daily basis. The good things are that they can be done seated, and so will not aggravate my knees, as previously happened.
Another potential win was the fact that he said he could prepare an exercise program for my wife.
If both of us have our own program, then we can end up spurring each other on.
the dietary side of things will be maintained thru my involvement with Sparkpeople and the associated tracking, hints and encouragement that I get from my teams and Sparkfriends,
