Spring Arrives with New Beginnings!

Ah, my dear Sparkfriends, spring is here, and the winter funk is dissolving more each day. I am back to tracking food -- and enjoying the challenge! -- and I plan to add in exercise in 15-minute intervals. My downfall has been an all-or-nothing attitude: run for 3 miles or don't run, go to Tae kwon do or don't go. I've had to learn that 15 minutes of pilates is a wonderful way to treat myself and my body.
In other news, my darling, wonderful daughter just earned a spot on a competitive dance team, and I am so proud of her that I could burst! It's been so great to watch her stretch, practice turns, and run with the dog and me. Now, the focus turns toward creating an amazing TKD artist out of my son. He's got the will; he just needs a parent to get him to classes even when he would prefer to play Minecraft.
With all this spring newness, it's easier for me to have a new and improved attitude toward health and self. One day at a time, enjoy the little things, and keep Sparking!
