After almost four months of 5-7 days a week Pilates exercising I'm finally able to do the Jacknife. I am so proud of myself. And Ive moved up to using ten pound weights for my arm exercises. I've enjoyed getting stronger and having more endurance. My energy level has significantly increased. I'm on track with my weight loss goal. So far so good! There are some unexpected benefits of losing weight. Taking a bath is a pleasure because my hips don't touch the sides anymore. I don't have to rock from side to side when putting on my seat belt. And my personal favorite, my kids can hug me tighter now that they can reach around me with their little arms. I'm not where I want to be with my size. But I have to tell ya, I'm really starting to enjoy where I am now and the benefits of exercising and eating healthy. And I imagine it can only get even better from here on out.
