Today

Well today is going to be a rough one. Today is the last for my children to clean their rooms before I do. In my house having a clean room shows respect for the things you own. Clothes last longer when they are neatly hung, not walked on. Toys last long when cared for not thrown on the floor or shoved under a bed and forgotten. Most of all, you can find things when they are put away. I've shown my boss how to clean and organize. I've done it for them and I've walked them through step by step having them do it for themselves. Once again, their room's look like tornados have been through and even worse bugs are starting to take up residence. I've been them a week to clean with the expectation that whatever is not cleaned and organized will be donated. So perhaps someone with less will appreciate and respect the things they own. The melt downs will be monumental, the emotions strong. My struggle will be not to eat away my frustration. Let the day begin.
