Feeling Fatty

No...I'm not feeling fatty. I'm craving fat...apparently.

This last week, my macronutrients have been favoring a much higher dose of fats than normal. Usually, I'm heavy on the carbs (because I'm a vegetarian and that's how we roll).

I'm just going to ride it out and see what happens.

    Our culture seeks to make us ignore fat cravings but indulge carb cravings, when we should almost certainly be doing the reverse! You're picking great sources of fat, so go for it! Your body will thank you for it!

    Fats are really good for satiety, but also for healing of muscle and connective tissues. I knew someone who once had tennis elbow (tendonitis) that would not heal, for months... Till she increased fat and protein intake significantly, whereupon it healed in a couple of weeks. Your photo here makes me want avocado...

    Fat calls to me from everywhere. My problem is that while I know the difference between the good and bad fats, it's the bad fats that I want to eat. Except for peanut butter, that's one good fat I really like.

    You probably need those fats.
    I believe eating more healthy fats and less carbs is good for the body, as long as you get your proteins.
