I just read a blog post from Tony Horton. Are You In Hiding or Seeking.
As I read the description of a person in hiding, I realized that's what I was before I had an Ah-Ha moment about my health and fitness. I was in hiding.
"Que the violin music." I was full of negativity and stress. I hid my unhappiness with food and booze. I was full of excuses as to why I was gaining weight, losing control of my fitness and felt like things were so hard. "Cut the music."
Then some how, some way I GOT REAL. I realized I was in my own way. No one else and nothing else was the cause of how I felt. Who knew that just exercising regularly and eating well could change my perspective on life. Sounds a little too easy right? I'm not perfect in any way. I still deal with STUFF, but I'm a much more happy, GRATEFUL and positive person today.
