Tough week last week meant that I left Week 4 of the Bootcamp until this week. So I'll be finishing what I started but I hope to then get going on something less formal again. Formality doesn't suit me really and I'll probably be better off choosing things that appeal to me as and when I see them. There's loads of stuff on Spark and my attention is drawn to it daily by my Start Page - thank you Spark Yoga is good too - I enjoy it and can choose my own poses each day. I feel I should be more compliant but at the grand old age of 72 I really should know myself by now and go with how I am instead of getting frustrated and cross with myself.
I got to where I didn't like the team challenges like the big ones, you know the ones that are timed. Makes me feel pressured, and it frustrates me and I get more discouraged. I like doing things at my own pace, but sometimes I do think I need to push myself more. I have a lazy streak sometimes. Plus, my bad knees hold me back from doing the harder stuff. Walking, chair exercise, ST and my bike is all I need. It is good to find your comfort zone and then stick with it. Seems like you are getting there, day by day.

It hasn't been a good week for us either, but no matter what we have to keep moving or as we age, it will get harder. Have you seen that gymnast the 86 year old gymnast video on youtube, go look it up...sure is inspiring. She never would have been able to do that at her age, if she hadn't kept at it!! 836 days ago
Absolutely!!! Challenges aren't for everyone. They work for me, but for you, like you said, daily find the thing that appeals. Because really, like they say, you need to find the exercise you enjoy doing or you won't stay with it. And Spark does have so much on here to choose from. You can do this, at your pace. What makes you feel good and if that is yoga, then do that. It will probably be the thing you stick with much easier. You got this. I am rooting for you. 839 days ago
