20 days till Race day!

I CAN do it. I did 6 laps a the park tonight, That is 3 miles, I made it I finished it yeah. I actually didn't even feel that bad come lap four five or even six I though I would be dieing, especially cause i did a lot of walking earlier in the day at walmart and the px but i made it finished and am ready for bed soon. I will see how well i can walk tomorrow. :) I did gain 2 lbs. this week Just checked :( but i thought it would be worse i found it nearly impossible to actually get my sparky time in while mom was in the nursing home so didn't actually get to log anything- i could either do the exercise or log stuff so exercise won (mostly). But i dropped mom off back home tonight and got her settled so no more excuses, i will faithfully log everything again. Tomorrow I hope to do 4 laps or at least 40 min walk and drop kitty back off with mommy, then maybe I can get the living room vacuumed and shampooed by Friday. I hope to do 4 more walks this week and at least 1 more a 3 mile one probably 1 of them will be 1 mile but the other two should be a "normal" 2 miles. We will see what is actually accomplish-able, but that is my current plan. My goal for the race is still just to finish tonight I did the 3 miles in 67 mins so maybe I can get a time of like 50-60 by race day. But as long as I do finish I will be Thrilled. Just a little update to prove I haven't quit or abandoned my goals Real Life has just gotten in the way. on another note does anyone have a heart rate monitor- mine today stayed in the 140 range most of the time but i looked at it a couple times and it would jump from 213 to 140 to 177 in just a few flickers Is that right or is my fit or positioning off maybe? Wish me luck on my plans for the week.
