I'm back. Maybe for a good while, maybe for a week. I have 2.5 year old who thinks mama's mousekersizing is hilarious and that she needs to help by sitting on me.

I was working out through most of 2015 on my own and managed to finish a 5k in under 45 minutes. That was awesome. But then my kid kept getting sick, so we had to stop going to the gym. (daycare germs are the devil.)

Now, we have 157 sleeps until our first family vacation, and this mama needs to look good. So, I've started with one of the easier 28 day challenges and will be trying to do more challenges as the weather gets less crappy. Spring in Utah was alternating from 70 degrees, warm and sunny to 20 degrees with a blanket of snow. Seattle weather has been crappy a lot -- So much rain and wind.

My plan is to continue getting myself prepared, and then as it gets warmer, making my spawn practice hiking so she can go-go-go at Disneyland.

Any motivation would help. I'm kind of ticked at myself, as I'm now 20 pounds heavier than I was when I got pregnant, which is where I was at my heaviest while pregnant. So, I have a ways to go, but since I already have more energy thanks to my working out last year, I have more faith in this.

Ps, meal tracking is going to make or break this. If I actually pay attention to what I eat, I will stop gaining. I know this, yet I hate it, so there is my catch-22.

Working out with little ones is hard. Mine just turned 2 last month and my only way to get a real workout in is when she sleeps. If I turn on a workout video she says "no, no, no" and crys. If I get on floor she jumps all over me.
