Sleep apnea

Wednesday, March 23, 2016

I got my results from my sleep study and I have mild obstructive sleep apnea. I was really hoping I wouldn't need CPAP, but I do :(

Positive side is that since it will help me sleep, I will have more energy. I'm hoping once I'm in healthy shape, maybe I'll be able to come off it. Who knows.

I have mild sleep apnea too; wasn't able to use CPAP; am gettig a dental appliance..hoping that will work. Good luck with CPAP. (For the times i was able to tolerate it, it made a world of difference, I had sooo much energy the next day.)

You will sleep better and that has been shown to help with weight loss. And some day you probably won't need it.

I can't lie. It took a little getting used to, but now I can't imagine sleeping without it. Even when no one is around to complain about my snoring, I still wear it because of the quality rest I get with it.
