Day 18: Does It Matter

We all have those days of struggle. It's a part of life. No one will be 100% positive or at the top of his/her game all the time. That doesn't mean we give up or give in. But, what does it all matter, anyways??? Does what day I list in my subject line matter??? Does the number the scale displays matter??? Does what I ate yesterday matter??? Not in a larger view. None of those things really matter. What matters is: Am I loving myself and those around me fully? Am I giving the best I can give in this moment? The previous moment is gone and the next is not my concern. What is here in front of me NOW is where I can focus. Living in the present. So, while the other things I mentioned can be used as tools to keep me on a path that I decide I want to follow, I can habitually become the person I want to be by LIVING in each moment and making my best choices NOW because that's all I truly have. Here's to living my life in the present. Here's to loving myself fully. Here's to loving my "neighbor" (family, friends, colleagues, housemates, community, animals and nature) fully. And here's to giving the best I can give in this moment! I'll let the next moment worry about itself!
