"UNPLUG at night. Staying constantly tethered to your smartphone can interfere with your relationships and sleep - both of which are key to a contented, unstressed outlook. One simple change that helps: Stop using your phone as an alarm. 'It makes it so easy to read and respond to e-mails after you've turned off the alarm in the morning,' says Carter. 'At that point, you're working, and stressing, before you're even out of bed.''

Good Housekeeping April 2015 page 115

I don't do the Smartphone thing, so I don't relate to this other than I think people are too tied to their smart phones all the way around. I play too much on my computer, but I also get up and walk away from it easily.

I'm a full blown appleholic. I use my phone as an alarm. But that means (normally) I turn it off and hit the shower. I do check weather and road conditions in the winter months. Not enough time for anything else.

My daughter gave me her old iphone 5, but I only use it for texting and taking pictures of Wyatte. Wouldn't have a clue how to use it to the full. I am not really interested in technology that much. The only thing I use my laptop for is to get on Sparkpeople.
