I wasn't feeling all that great today but Church was lovely this morning, and I'm glad I talked myself into going because it was announced that we are having a special combined sacrament meeting next Sunday to announce new ward boundaries and new leadership!
I have to take my cats to the free clinic that day, it's the only day this month that they operate, so I asked one of my new friends, Linda, to take notes for me.
I hope I end up in the same ward with her, and with the Thompson family so I can hopefully continue my temple preparation class! I don't want to start over with a fourth bishop etc, but it looks like I don't have a choice! LOL
I am still struggling to get my blood glucose levels down. They started back up almost immediately after my ER visit. My endocrinologist even changed my insulin doses... and I hit 312 tonight. For those who don't know, "normal" is between 80 and 120... definitely time to talk to the doctor about another possible UTI. Don't know if that's what it is, but I looked at the list of symptoms the ER doctor gave me, and it kind of fits. Seems the symptoms change when you get "older"...Guess it's official, I'm an "older lady" now! LOL
It's still been a beautiful day. The rain stopped and the sun came out every time I needed to go out! And the bluest skies you've ever seen are the ones that hide behind the rain!
I went on YouTube and found out that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has their own channel, so I subscribed. Interesting, hearing them sing "Morning Has Broken"... I have a very busy three days ahead of me. Not only do I have to see a doctor and take care of that, I have guests coming to "afternoon tea" (re: the Hobbits from The Fellowship of the Ring, I don't drink tea but I do make the meal! LOL) so by 4:00 pm on Wednesday I need to have some kind of table set-up to accommodate them. I got a little sofa to put in my living room, so the table had to be moved, and I still haven't gotten the hardware to fix my dining table so if I can't do that in time, I may have to use my little utility table again. (the one that was in the living room...)
Either way, it's fine, they aren't that picky LOL
But I do also have to shop for the food, and I don't get my food stamps until that very day!
Like I said, a busy three days...
I've got to stop saying that I like a challenge...
I always manage but good grief!
Gotta get some quiet too somehow! LOL
Cheers, hope life is treating you all well, dear friends!
