Back on track with tracking!

I signed up for SparkPeople a few years ago, then joined Weight Watchers and ended up focusing on WW. I lost 35 pounds over 1 year, which was great. Even better, I kept it off for another 2 years. Then I totally lost interest in tracking diet and exercise. Over the next two years I gained back 30 pounds. Oops.

I was feeling pretty awful for months - just tired, knees hurt, kept injuring myself with exercise, and hated looking at the scale and putting on my (too-tight) pants. I decided to get back into diet and exercise after the holidays, spent two months making no progress, then realized the last time it worked for me was when I had some accountability and community support. Of course, WW = $40/month. My health is worth it, for sure, but come on - would rather spend that money on shoes, lol!

Then I saw SparkPeople added mobile apps and decided to give it a try. So far, so good. Week one down and I already lost 3 pounds. Tracking works, and I have re-ignited my motivation to lose weight and get back in shape so I can start jogging again without killing my knees!
