Wish I could eat this way every day

My phone app (strava) says I burned 4978 calories during today's Seneca Creek Greenway 50K.

No doubt I burned more since there were some muddy stretches on the course.

The aid stations were very helpful (and their selection of food amusing). During the race I ate:

4 handfuls of chips
2 handfuls of trail mix
2 pieces of baklava
1 1/2 pb&j sandwiches, some with nutella
1 biscotti
1 honey stinger waffle
1/4 grilled cheese sandwich
10 oz of coke
24 oz of gatorade
lots of water

Probably comes to about 1500 calories plus 600c for breakfast and 1250c post-race food. No dinner - too exhausted. Plus, I'm pleasantly sated already.

    That is an interesting selection of food for a race. But no dinner? You were probably very hungry when you woke up the next day.
