I just read a great article about verbalizing your spark -- your motivation for a healthy life. I'm going to write as many as I can (good or bad).
I want to eat well and exercise because...
...I'm a role model for my kids. I want them to take healthy habits for granted.
...I'm 40 and it gets harder to stay in shape!
...Holly Holm is my inspiration to stay fit.
...I want to rock a red bikini this year.
...a boyfriend dumped me because my "a** was too big" and dated size 2 girls instead.
...I want to be a better martial artist.
...running in 5k races gives me such a sense of accomplishment.
...fruits and vegetables taste so good!
...I like being in control.
...I like how it feels to be in good shape.
...I feel great when my clothes fit me well.
...I like getting extra compliments from my husband (if you know what I mean!)
...I have more energy when I'm fit.
...when I'm not focusing on weight loss, I have more focus for other priorities.
...I want to impress myself and others at my next black belt test...and my next one...and my next one...
