Free Food Isn't The Best

So, my intention was to have tacos last night and then go to our usual hangout at the Bowling Alley (BA) with my friends. We get to Salsa's and people were 3 deep waiting to sit at the bar (getting a table is always a ridiculous notion and then people bump you walking by, so we always belly up). My roommate started asking all of us where we wanted to go and my friend & I just decided to go ahead and go to the BA even though specials didn't start for another hour.
We get to the BA and my roommate is there already. They decided they want to eat there & all is well. About an hour later, my friend gives me an order of mac n cheese bites she didn't want. She knew I didn't have a lot of money & said she ordered extra. Well, YUM! OK Then my friend Chris gets there and orders french fries, which we of course share between 5 of us. Then my other friend Tony orders jalapeno poppers and says he can't possibly eat them all. So, my free "dinner" was fried (delicious) junk food.
Thankfully, I make a huge pot of veggie soup of some kind every week for the my lunches throughout the week, so I still had plenty of vegetables at breakfast, lunch and during my breaks. And my calorie differential still wound up being -365, so I didn't go over. I'm not going to beat myself up over one day.
Today is day 1 of 30 days without fried food.
I don't have to wait until the first of the month. I can start my own SparkStreak.
