Ahh, March....

March, the month where most of the country gets Spring, and MAYBE, Minnesotans get to take the linings out of their coats. Saturday it was 59 degrees (and YES, there were a LOT of people in shorts), and this morning, there is snow on the ground. Never believe that Spring is coming to Minnesota before there are about ten days of warm in a row....happens about mid-May.

Today is also Super Tuesday, where ten states determine if they REALLY are going to choose the Drumpf (watch John Olliver's expose on Mr. Drumpf from Sunday night...it is illuminating).

Today is also a start of a new month, where we get affirmations of our good work last month, consistency awards, which are always awesome and welcome.

I figured out last night when I was actually shivering, that putting ice packs on your knee when it is really cold outside is not an easy thing to do. I guess I could just sit outside and get the same benefits.

Go out and have a fabulous March, whatever your weather.

    March 24th, 2013 we had record-breaking snowfall here in Springfield, IL -- 18 inches fell in one day! Doesn't happen every year but it does happen here in IL too. emoticon

    I had to laugh out loud at your post. I got home and, of course, Steve was watching the primary results on CNN. Arghh! I can see the advantage of living in a state that is part of Super Tuesday. California, one of the most important states in the union, doesn't have their primary vote until June. By that time, the nomination is usually all sewed up. We don't really get a say, not that it matters that much.

    The big question now is what is going to happen during the general election. Is it actually possible that we could end up with President Combover for the next four years? And how will we assure our allies in other countries that, don't worry, we can fix this in 2020! I'd be ROFL if it wasn't all so scary!!!!

    I'm so happy you were able to get back in the pool. This is the start of an awesome month for you! Keep on doing what you're doing my friend. You're going to be dancing by the time Spring actually does arrive in MINN!

    I have knee replacements too. Nobody but other people who have a replacement can describe how weird it feels when the metal in your knee chills. It makes your whole body cold! I will never forget trying to explain it to my sister, so I rolled up my pant legs one winter and had her touch both knees.(before the other knee was replaced too). The right knee was cold, as well as the leg, and the left knee was warm. It was a cold day outside and the wind was blowing. The metal in my right knee got chilled. She was amazed!

    Even the animals are confused about the temperatures and the weather in general. Yesterday the emoticon made an appearance for a few hours. The wild critters aren't sure what to do. The males are chasing the females. The females want no part of their mating games.

    Thursday we expect snow again and so it goes emoticon

    Super Tuesday, march 1, 2016, hopefully will not go down in history as the day Americans totally lost their minds.

    Jane we are so lucky here on our Island we are having beautiful spring weather. I even did some gardening today. I love the outdoors. I love to open my windows and let the sunshine in. Hopefully you all will have the great weather there also pretty soon.

    I put my thick robe on over my clothes last night after taking Daisy outside. Just couldn't get warm enough! But things just might be looking up for next week - I'm staying hopeful!

    Daisy isn't too happy with me though. I'd go out in the colder air temp but the wind is just brutal!

    Went to school in Rochester (trained @ Mayo Clinic and the 2 hospitals) and YES Winter can be a beast and Spring takes it's sweet time settling in!
