Round 2

Well, after being on a 3-4 month hiatus and gaining 8-10 lbs I figured I better get my butt back on track. I knew as I watched the scales slowly but surely heading in the wrong direction that I had to do something. So, I decided to start working with a nutritionist and start back with my favorite weight loss support group...Spark People. My main reason to eat better and be more active is for health reasons. But, now I have more of a "want to look good" reason. My son is getting married in August. I'm not sure if I want to cry or smile, or both! I absolutely adore his fiance' and I think she is the perfect person for him. But he is my only child! Anyway, the upcoming wedding is such a good motivation for me. She comes from a very small family and I just don't want to look back at the wedding pictures, and think wow....I look like a giant compared to them! So I have to do this! I have to focus on eating right and exercising. It's the only way to get where I want to be! I love life and I want to live that happy, healthy, active life. So here's to round 2! (hopefully the final round)

    I too started over the 1st of Feb. because I need to get back to where my AC1 is under 6 and that means taking off weight.

    By accident I found Trim Healthy Mama team by looking at MAVRIKBABY's teams because I was curious how she lost 50 lbs.

    I'm so glad I did. I'm a lot older than you and the older we get the harder it is to lose because our metabolism slows way down.

    The THM plan is geared to lowering a person's AC1 and weight. It's so easy to eat their freestyle way and not have to count anything or do without on plan sweets. The trick is to eat and change fuels every 3 to 4 hours. Fuels being carbs and fats.

    In 1 month I lost 5 lbs and 5.25 inches and I'm a slow loser. The only exercise I have done is walking 3 days a week with a friend. I'm looking into getting the new CIZE DVD's put out by Beachbody and Shaun T. I hate to exercise but Love to Dance.
