Gluten Free Penne with Sauteed Veggies

1 Pkg Tinkyada Organic Brown Rice Penne 12oz.
1-2 Tbsp EVOO
1 Shallot, minced (2 garlic gloves minced will work too)
1 bunch of Asparagus, sliced on a bias (angle)
1 pint Cherry Tomatoes, halved ( I used more- why not)
10 Basil leaves, torn
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated ( or Nutritional Yeast to keep dish Vegan)
1) cook Penne according to package directions
2) Meanwhile, in skillet, sautee shallot in EVOO over medium heat until translucent, about 2 min.
3) Next turn heat to high , add Asparagus cook another 3-4 minutes, then add Tomatoes cook add'l 2 min.
4) drain Penne, toss with Veggies, stir in cheese or yeast and basil.
