I only fail if I give up

Once again I visit my page and am further from my goals than the prior reboot. I am however determined not to be defeated in my search for a healthy lifestyle and long term health.
I recently had my annual biometric screening done for insurance. My numbers were all really good with the exception of weight and BMI.
Negatives - weight higher than a year ago. Diagnosed with Hashimotos and nodules on my thyroid. Work/life balance still out of whack. Puppy who is very needy. Signs that my mom will be needing more time and attention in the future.
Positives - Great endocrinologist. Puppy I adore. Work laptop means I can come home and make dinner then wrap out any loose ends. Fitbit and challenges with friends. Some great healthy eating Facebook pages. Irish oatmeal prepped ahead and frozen---delish! My IPad makes jumping online and onto this page much easier. Reading a great book on my kindle that is making so much sense and that my mind is already reacting to in a positive way ----Never Binge Again -- Reprogram Yourself to Think Like a Permanently Thin Person by Glenn Livingston. Rekindled friendships with really great friends from back in the day, even if they are long distance. Hubby's improved health. Mom giving real thought to moving closer in the future.
Positives outweigh negatives. Plus refusal to fail. Equals goals accomplished timely.
