This one just shines for me...I love sunshine and definitely thrive on sunny days.

Good Housekeeping april 2015 page 114

"Let the Light In. If the sun is shining, go out! In one study, when people increased their exposure to bright light, they argued less and felt happier. (Just don't forget the sunscreen)"

Actually, you need at least 15 minutes of direct sun exposure without the sunscreen to get your needed daily dose of Vitamin D.

I really appreciate this one. I leave for work in the dark and drive home in the dark. I find in these months I have to make sure I get outside.

It's cold here in northern Michigan but on the sunny days I position a lawn chair just inside the garage doors out of the wind and can feel the warmth. Spring coming soon!

I love the sunshine. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is open my curtains to let the light in. My house always has to be bright in the day. At night I have lamps on with warm bulbs.

    Free vit. D. Good deal

Cold here too -- but warming up to near 50F this weekend! DEFINITELY will be outdoors.

It's still -5C (-11C windchill) here in Manitoba but the sun is shining. I had the thought this morning that if I could find a sunny spot out of the wind I could likely soak up some rays and get my much needed dose of Vitamin D.
