Feeling good today

This was a good week. While I would have liked better news from my doc, the bad lab work is helping my motivation. I've been doing well with my steps, and I'm looking forward to getting on my bike this weekend.
For Christmas I received two cast iron pans, one skillet and one grill pan. I love them!! I learned that it is so easy to heat the pan, give a quick sear to either chicken or salmon and then toss it in the oven to finish. Both came out really well and it was quick and easy, which is what I need dinners to be right now.
My focus next week will be on vegetables. I know I need to add more. I get sick of salads pretty quickly, so I need to figure out different ones to prepare. I will be growing a bunch in my garden this year, but I'm not good about buying/cooking them. Will be doing some grocery shopping tonight with my son. I want to get him eating more too, so I'm going to ask him to pick one out that he will eat.
