Healthy BMI :-)

I'm very happy to have reached the very top of my healthy BMI today
For the SECOND time I have to add. I've learned a lot of lessons along the way - most importantly portion control - AND - wonder of wonders! - have cut down considerably on wine consumption
which is really at the root of the weight difficulties for me because - as is not unusual - it makes me throw caution to the winds and eat more than is good for me. I have many alcohol free days now which seems to have led to my regulating my consumption naturally when I do have a glass or two of wine.
My next battle is keeping on keeping on with getting movement into my day on a regular basis.I'm far too good at lying around between exercise sessions but I'm going to spend the next month building up steps on my pedometer and generally keeping moving during the day. I suspect that this may be my biggest battle but it's got to be done - I'm really too old now to let my muscles waste away. So - I'm setting my ticker to record fitness minutes - not too many to start with but with the hope that they will rise as I put more movement into my days. I will need to put a lot of determination into this but right now I'm expecting success.
