My PCP's office called me back with my lab levels, and my total cholesterol and LDL are high. She wants me to cut back my fat intake and start exercising regularly and retest in 3 months. Gives me another reason to make my healthy changes and stick with them.
I did well with walking yesterday, got in ~9000 steps. I just need to make sure I take the time during lunch to take a walk. I know there will be busy days where I don't have the time, but most of the time, I do. This weekend is going to be nice, so will get on the bike again. My son still isn't confident riding without training wheels, but he is happy to ride his kick scooter around the neighborhood. Either way, good activity for both of us.
Need to look at more recipes. Cooked last night. My new favorite thing is to do chicken on my cast iron grill pan. Start it on the stove top and then toss it in the oven to finish. It comes out really juicy and the clean up is super easy. I want to do more salmon/tuna recipes . . . so off now to do some research.
