I - INHALE

I think many of us do this unconsciously when we are facing something difficult. Deep breath and then tackle "it". Here is what Good Housekeeping said:

"Inhale"
"Breathe in through your nose for four counts, hold your breath for one and exhale through your mouth for five to lower heart rate and blood pressure. Aim for three mindful breaths an hour, says Carter." (Who is Carter? See Grin)

    I do what I call 7x7x7 breathing. Same pattern. 7 breaths in thru the nose, hold 7 seconds, and take 7 seconds to blow it out thru the mouth. It is so relaxing and focusing.
