One step forward...and you know the rest

It seems like no matter how I try, I love the one-step-forward-two steps-back dance. Why? I know what I need to do to be successful, yet I don't do it. Why? What is holding me back? What am I really afraid of? I need to figure out these answers so that I can make that one step become two and so on and so on. I will figure this out because I really do want to lose this weight and feel and look better.

    Remember - Progress, not perfection. At least you move forward - think of where you'd be if you only moved backward (which is where I have been more than a few times in my life). Cheer yourself on. Recognize when you do well or better than before. It will become easier - not that slip-ups won't happen, but they won't discourage you as much because you know you are on the right track much of the time. Hugs!

    You WILL figure it out. Indeed, we have all done the dance...a time or ten. Stay connected with your support. For someone with poor eating habits, it isn't one day at a time, it's one meal at a time. Stay strong.
