Got to love Diabetes in general, you do as you should and watch everything necessary and you still have days that it bites you. Past couple of days I've been in the low end of numbers 2.5 to 5.5 maybe popping up to 8 but not for very long. Not needed as much insulin which is nice to see of course, but waking up at 7am testing and seeing 2.5 or 3.2 not so much. It goes in bouts I've noticed almost as if my body is following a hormone cycle (I'm post menopausal before the age of 40) yet there is not a set amount of days, some months it happens in the middle others near the end, etc. Only thing I do know is that my GP has no answers and my Endocrinologist says it's part of being a insulin dependent diabetic. That rhyme and reason are out the window at times and it's anyone's guess as to tge why of the matter.

I don't have diabetes but, it does run in my family and I've worked in the medical field long enough to see the effects. It sucks, to put it lightly and I hope you are able to get some sort of resolution soon.
