Long-ish pre-amble to all this. Because I've been so busy lately, I had lost the habit of my usual Friday weigh-in. I weighed several days late (Tues last) and had lost 1 pound. I had been rushing about like a mad person with relatively little food intake - mostly sandwiches for speed. I know bread is fatal to my weight loss but I just didn't feel I had time for anything other than food 'on the run' so my 1 pound down was a bonus as far as I was concerned. Today after more careful eating and with the intention of getting back to my Friday weigh-in next week, I weighed again . . . and three pounds gone!!!! WHAT?? I had my morning coffee and thought about it. Generally I weigh once and that's it - but I've repeated it three times today with the same result. So I guess I'll take it, Of course I'm pleased - but the mystery of how my/our systems work never ceases to amaze me!
