The Feel Good Jar
Thursday, February 18, 2016
Prior to the New Year I read somewhere about starting a "What made me feel good today" jar. The idea is to write it down, place the paper in the jar and read them at the end of the year so you can see positive things that happened during the year.
My daughter loved the idea as well so together we began this "new" tradition. What's nice with this is as we write our thoughts we also share them which amplifies the "feel good" part and helps us focus on the positives in our lives.
I also feel that if I'm having a bad day I can reach into the jar and pull out a "feel good" moment as a reminder, even if it's not mine.
Life is a challenge. Sometimes focusing on the things that make us "feel good" help to soften the "not so good" moments.
Yes, life can be challenging at times. But we need to remind ourselves that it can be happy and wonderful too!
Keep Sparking...it works.
