emoticon I weighted myself this morning and am very unhappy. This is the most I have ever weight. I do good and lose then something happens and I go back to eating junk..I had shoulder surgery 7 weeks ago and gained 1-2 pounds a week. I have been sitting all day.

I can't do much exercise yet but I decided to start on my treadmill at a slow speed. I like walking outside but with the cold, snow, and ice I don't go out unless I really have to. I am starting today to measure and keep track of what I eat..Drink more water and eat more fruit and veggies..

I know I will get support here and am looking forward to suggestion to help me..And hope to start succeeding again. emoticon

I haven't worked in 9 months due to a back injury at work, and am loaded with arthritis. It hinders me a bit, but I am determined to lose this weight. Just keep pushing and dont give steps to get it off. It takes time. You can do it

You're right, you can do it! Sounds like you have a food plan so far. Track what you eat and exercise when you can. All the little changes will make a big difference. You got this!

If you hover your goal, look and readjust the next day. Look up nutrional info before you eat. That can help you decide.

There are multiple sitting exercise videos that target the lower body (no shoulder work). I've done these before and was pretty surprised how much of a workout they actually are.

Just a thought....! Hang in there! It's the getting back up that reflects the nature of a person.

    You can do this!

You CAN do this! I don't deprive myself. If I want a candy bar I eat 1/2 and give the other away. That way I get half the calories and what I want without adding temptation. Record All your food here. Don't be embarrassed, no one sees it but you.
