I talked the talk, but was not walking the walk

Monday, February 15, 2016

I never left SP. I still checked in to spin the wheel and checked in with Sparkcoach, here and there.
However, I stopped using the trackers, stopped blogging, stopped keeping in touch with my Sparkfriends (except ones on facebook), stopped checking in on my Sparkteams.
The result: The weight came back, plus some.
SPARKPEOPLE is STILL the best guide to become a healthier person.
However, I talked the talk, but was not walking the walk.
Time to put my favorite inspirational quotes into action:
The one I love from Bobby D31:
We ALL have setbacks. ACCEPT IT, HANDLE IT and MOVE ON!
And the magnet I have on my refrigerator:
Lord, turn my setbacks become comebacks.
I will get back to basics, In SP and Sparkcoach steps. I CAN DO THIS!
Feels good to blog again. Now, excuse me while I log my food and go check on my Sparkfriends.

I know you can do this. But always remember that you don't have to do it alone.

As the old adage goes, "The only constant is change". Life is about starts and stops, renewal and adaptation. I think that's a good thing, especially in the arena of weight loss and maintenance, because what worked yesterday may not work today and finding a new path is so important.

    Welcome back, Becky!
